Saeed Al Mansoori, Defense and Military Exhibitions Advisor at UAE’s ADNEC Group, confirmed that the United Arab Emirates participated in the EDEX 2025 Egyptian Defense Exhibition with a comprehensive national pavilion bringing together seven leading national entities in defense industries and advanced services. The participation was supported by the UAE Defense Empowerment Council and organized in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Defense and ADNEC Group.
Al Mansoori stated that the pavilion aimed to showcase the UAE’s technological advancements in advanced defense industries, enhance international cooperation with defense institutions, decision-makers, and military experts, and expand the presence of UAE companies in regional and global markets, while presenting the latest defense and security solutions to a specialized audience of experts and official delegations. The initiative also sought to build new strategic partnerships and facilitate knowledge and expertise exchange in the defense sector.
He highlighted that the UAE national pavilion included seven major entities: the Defense Empowerment Council, EDGE Group, Calidus Holding Group, GAL Global Aerospace and Logistics, Amrek Advanced Military Maintenance and Overhaul Center, Al Jundi Magazine (the official journal of the UAE Armed Forces), and ADNEC Group, which organized the pavilion. These entities presented the latest defense and security innovations reflecting the UAE’s advanced engineering and technological capabilities.
Al Mansoori emphasized that UAE participation in major defense exhibitions helps open new markets for Emirati companies through direct engagement with official delegations and decision-makers, strengthens international defense relations, highlights Emirati technological competitiveness, supports national industries, attracts strategic investments, and integrates UAE companies into global OEM supply chains.
He concluded that international defense exhibitions contribute to realizing the UAE’s defense ambitions by showcasing advanced solutions and technological innovations, reinforcing research and innovation ecosystems, localizing defense industries, marketing advanced UAE projects internationally, and building long-term defense capabilities.
