The fourth edition of the Egypt International Defense and Security Exhibition “EDEX 2025” was held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center from December 1 to 4, with a record participation of more than 450 exhibiting companies representing 50 countries around the world.
The exhibition was considered the largest defense and armament event in Africa and the Middle East, featuring national pavilions from 25 countries, including major global defense powers such as the United States, Russia, China, and France, along with regional participants such as India, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates.
The event witnessed the attendance of official and diplomatic delegations from more than 100 countries, while attracting around 45,000 visitors interested in the latest developments in defense and security technologies.
EDEX 2025 provided a platform to showcase the latest innovations in land vehicles, air and coastal defense systems, shipbuilding, cybersecurity, autonomous and unmanned systems—including drones and UGVs—alongside satellite communication technologies and training and simulation equipment.
Egypt’s organization of this major international event strengthened its strategic position as a key gateway for the defense industry toward Africa and Asia, while offering opportunities for knowledge exchange and the establishment of strategic partnerships between leading global manufacturers and defense companies.
The first edition of EDEX was launched in 2018, and the exhibition has rapidly established itself as a premier platform for showcasing advanced defense technologies—reflecting Egypt’s commitment to advancing its defense industrial capabilities and expanding international cooperation in the sector.
